Film in Action provides equipment, but you are allowed to bring your own equipment. We strongly suggest you obtain travel insurance for your equipment.
You will be met at the airport by a local driver who will escort you to your place of lodging. Once everyone arrives you will be met by your instructors.
Film in Action works with you and the NGO to utilize the film to promote the work of the NGO. You will maintain access to the films that you have created and are able to take all your footage away with you if you provide a personal hard disk. The choice to give the raw footage to your NGO is your decision.
You will stay in safe, comfortable accommodations that are centrally located, providing access to local culture events and activities.
During the week, Monday through Friday, you will be involved in an intensive program. You will have your weekends, Saturday and Sunday, to engage in personal activities, trips or travel.
Many students travel prior beginning and after the course ends. We ask that you be mindful that Film in Action is only responsible for your lodging, food and transportation while the course is in session.
During the course you will have medical emergency travel insurance through Film in Action.
